I'm interested in music that is different and tells a story. My own music is instrumental with an experimental attitude and a catchy stroke, an exciting challenge! I play many instruments, have been in many bands, learned many musical styles and production techniques... Now I want to step outside myself and simply tell stories with sound.

I like to keep improvisation at focus and develop my instruments to let me play rather complex arrangements instantly and compose as I go. Pre composing or multi track recording are techniques I try to avoid. Most often I extend my instruments with interactive electronics for livelooping. I'm not sure the word "improvise" best describes what I do, because I work a lot with expanding my awareness in time and create musical structures that don't just sound good together but also lock in well over a longer time span. Like for example playing a theme in a way that will let it take on a new role a bit into the future as more parts are forming around it. In short, I love working with direction and movement in music. And I'm finding this way of playing different than just improvising as "reacting to sound in the moment". This is why I rather call my method "Instant Composing".
