BreemiX

BreemiX aka Cosa was born in April 1969, near Paris.

In love with the blues music, he explored the roots of modern music and discovered Robert Johnson, Tempa Red, Jimmy Reed...

Also passionate for computers, he programmed his first electro-compositions on chipset AY-3-8912 to include them in his programms (1984).

He formed his own band “Cosanova Trio” in 1992. He composed the music, writed the french lyrics, sang and played guitar...

Also BreemiX explored new musical fields with his computers, meeting electrosounds, samples, guitar and HipHop rythms. He used trackers (NoiseTracker, FastTrackerII…).

The artist that has certainly influenced BreemiX the most is the legendary Roni Size, fondator of the Drum&Bass mouvement.

After discovering BreemiX’s work, Roni Size has given him his honored support on his web site.

Another great producer called Aniff Akinola (Ian Brown [Stone Roses]) has sollicited BreemiX to collaborate for “The Ironweed Project”.
