Biography

Burtay Badem was born in Bursa, Turkey in 1983. He is an autodidacht who, at the age of fifteen, was one day suddenly inspired to start teaching himself to dance. His unique talent and showmanship was soon discovered as he was invited to perform in various clubs and hotels. He started to attract students who wanted to learn to dance like him. Burtay dances hiphop, street, locking and popping, but was born to take breakdance to the next level. Burtay has appeared in competitions including Redbull Bboy Lab, Battle of the year Balcans, Redbull Bboy meeting and many other competitions and was in 2003 awarded an Oscar for best breaker. Burtay is following his dream, which led him to Stockholm in 2008, where he enjoys dancing and choreographing. A new journey has begun.
