Biography

Originating in Stamford, CT West Side neighborhood as a click and now spreading out all over, Darkcyde Music Group LLC. is a label ran by "Conn Ave's King" Matt "Stead One" Steadman. Stead One was an artist on a local label) that lyrical abilities stood out like a sore thumb. After breaking tides in early 2005, Stead One explored other states for a bigger buzz. From doing a show in Dartmuth, Mass. to winning a talent show in Tuscaloosa, AL. Towards the end of 2005 Stead picked up a roster that is about as lyrically inclined as their general. In 2006 Darkcyde is officially off the ground with a team after the green. We have joint venture deals with other record labels so everyone we do business with is making money. We are doing big things with our digital distributions through Island Def Jam, Interscope & Universal Motown.
