EVET SOCRATES is a Chicago musician, artist, and film maker. He had started wanting to be a guitarist when he got into Kiss, with their theatricality, and later, Rush with their bent towards neo-classical lyrics and sweeping arrangements. It wasn’t until his friends got him into both New Wave and Neo-Classical Metal that his interest in guitar playing surged with an all-encompassing vigor. Throughout his career, Evet has strived to maintain a balance between ‘tonality and technique’, and create not just songs, but works of art.
