From the Ubetoo FAQ:If you receive copyright claims when you try to upload your own music to e.g. YouTube, that means our security system works!
You might receive copyright claims from a company called Kontor New Media (KNM). That's normal.
They are our digital distribution service. If you're trying to upload your own music and receive copyright claims, just ignore them.
And please do not e-mail Kontor New Media. They will only forward you to us.
I'm not okay with this. It happened to may and sure, I could chose to ignore it, but that means I have to live with adverts being shown overlaying my videos - Not only don't I want the adverts to be shown - the money earned for the adverts go to Kontor New Media.
Will I need to take my albums down and close my Ubetoo-account for this to happen?
I'm starting to get unimpressed by Ubetoo for a number of reasons (treat it as feedback and suggestions to fix):
1. The Kontor New Media issue with youtube
2. Publishing times to Spotify (my release from December 2012 is still not up and a friend of mine went though RouteNote and got it there in a matter of a couple of weeks - still slow for a digital world, but much better than 2 months and counting.
3. Statistics from distribution is very unclear - I have no idea what comes from Spotify for example
4. Payouts - you have to manually request a payout to Paypal every month - otherwise Ubetoo keeps the money if you don't. Can't you just automate the payouts?
