He is poor, and he spends the night in a lousy caravan

He is cold, as he walks alone on this lonely distant road

And his boss is yelling back at him

that time is up he´s late again.

Puts his helmet on it´s time to roll

and he´s entering this giant hole

He can´t see the sky he´s working in the coalmine

And all the clothes he wears is always full of dirt

In the elevator down he stands in silence

´Cause he knows this day will last a long long time

And he pray that there will never be a landslide

´cause the risks he takes is always present here

though I think that he´s an ordinary hero

he ´s just fighting for a place to call his own

a place to call home

In the hole, he is working hard

but he can hardly breathe

He is sore, he can´t do anything

but to stand there by the drill

In his head he tries to hear a song

that could cheer him up the whole day long

and he dreams about the perfect spot

where the drinks are cold

and the sun is hot

Gizmo Carismo

Autodidact swedish musician. Originally a drummer who has been a member of different bands from Sweden but since 2009 he is on his own playing his own songs. Giz plays all the instruments on each track. He also collaborates with brilliant guitarplayer and friend Thomas Haag under the projectname Haag & Carismo.
