Founded in febuary 2008 by guitarists Jack Bergström and Tomas Månsson who from the start recruited Drummer Johan Blomberg and bass player Max Björkman who is now also the screamer in the band. they had their first live show during Bagis festivalen in Bagarmossen only a couple of months after the band started.
Soon after that the band wrote their hit single Endless (that now has a total over 200 000 views from all around the internet and have been played on several radiostations.) and because of the keyboard parts in the song the band recruited Rickard Thorslund to play the keyboard in the band since that became a regular part of the sound in the bands songs.
In 2009 Mental Issues Entered the Emergenza music contest where they made it all the way to the Stockholm finals.
Sadly just before the final Rickard left the band and from now on the keyboards had to be backtracked.
The band them started writing their first album Through The Eyes of Pandora wich later was released online in May 2011.
During the winter of 2010 though Johan the drummer also left the band wich ment the band now had to search for a new drummer.
While searching throughout most 2011 the band started writing and recording their Ep "Hope Dies Last: Expansion Pack" wich aimed to be heavier than the previous songs.
Late i 2011 the Band finally found Alexander Prytz who fitted right in with the guys and are now the bands fulltime drummer with the release of the Hope Dies Last EP the band is now back in full force and better than ever and with their "do it yourself" attitude stronger than ever no one knows how far they'll go but the fans from around the world seem excited andthe rest only time will tell
