Born in Stockholm, Sweden, SIRR started out his musical path playing the trumpet as a kid. Growing up in a home where music where played constantly definitely left a mark, and with his father’s huge LP collection, mostly consisting of old classics, jazz and reggae records he was exposed to a lot of great music during his childhood years. So came the early 90’s, a time when hip hop had reached outside it origin all the way to Stockholm…
Introduced to the music by his older sister, he found himself loving it. This was during the time when the Wu-Tang clan just came out, Mobb Deep dropped shook ones, Tupac and Biggie made headlines, Skee-Lo wished he was a little bit taller and Coolio was still cool. It didn’t take long before the trumpet was put aside for the mic;
“I started to write lyrics just for fun when I was around 14 years old, the more I wrote, the more I found myself realizing that this was something I could actually do, something I wanted to do, and at the time it really saved me in a lot of ways. When you got nothing in your life pushing you in the right direction, music gave me what I needed, something that was my own, and something I was good at.”

New material from SIRR is in the making so keep your eyes and ears open. The music is direct, raw and gritty with little adjustments to today’s musical climate. He gives it to you in his way, from his point of view, no matter subject.
