Alexandra Wennersten

Alexandra Wennersten, born in 1986, grown up in small town Lerum, Sweden. Songwriter, compositian and musician. She started writing music at age 16, and has developed her own sound; a mix of Soul, Folk and Pop. With two cultures in her family (mother from Uruguay), she is strongly inspirated by both Swedish and Latinamerican music. She is fascinated by stories and tales, and likes to distort and romanticise the reality in what she writes.

In a long list of inspirations we find artists like Ron Sexsmith, Joni Mitchell Lisa Ekdahl, Etta James, Feist, Astrud Gilberto and Andrew Bird.
