Memory Park

Written after I had surgery and it looked quite serious for a while. Just recently I was lucky enuogh to find out that no metastasis were found. Voice is a bit shaky, otherwise I hope you will enjoy.

Summer ends in Memory Park

Now the nights get chilly and dark

But I remember you

Smiles were turning upside down

Everybody had worried frown

Everyone but you

Let’s go go go from Memory Park

The brightest stars bring me a magic spark

Leave this heavy load right_out in the dark

To get a shiny side of life within my heart

Nothing’s left in Memory Park

Nothing else but bruises and marks

And nothing I could do

When something hurts thinking gets sharp

When something’s lost

We could find a new start

And life begins with you

The Devil took a grip of my leg

Made no difference if I prayed or begged

He always stood on the top of the hill

And waited for me to get killed

English: I started to make music just a few years ago. I felt that there was something inside me still to explore. I have always been impressed by the way performing music affects people. I wondered if the process of making music would affect me as well. What did I find? I found that my songs were like incantations upon changes in life, like writing a diary or a letter to myself. Sometimes you have to write more, sometimes less. I think every person has that need of that active creative process. Not necessarily music, it could be writing, drawing, sculpturing.. Look at children! They become silent and totally absorbed if you give them a piece of chalk and a paper focused on that creative process! This, I found was missing in my life. I have no commercial interests in my music whatsoever, just happy if someone cares to listen and please do.
