Peathz is a Norwegian girl, who studied music at Distriktshøgskolen i Hedmark, in Norway. After that she started composing her own music, because the music she could find easily available, wasn't to her liking. Katrine has listened to jazz, from an early age, since jazz is her dad's favorite genre.

After having studied music, Katrine thought maybe it was the lack of the use of quarter tones, that made everything sound boring. So she started inventing her own quarter tone instrument, which is being developed in the US right now.

But the wait has been so long, so Peathz started making her own jazz music, on the side.
