A mentoring Musician and Youth Mentor. My composition bias is Afropop-African (World-Fusion) gospel music, but I also perform other genres.
I do blend African pentatonic-minor sounds mixed with Congoleese rhumba and pop-rock. I perform both as a solo Artist and with a fusion band. My main instruments are 'Akoogo' (East African Thumb piano), Adungu (Egyptian bow harp), and guitar.
The band is composed of a fusion of African percussion and melodic instruments mixed with Western instruments epecially
guitars.The band performance is often accomponied with African Folk-Street dances involving mentees in our Wana Wa Mola Street Children's Project.
My studio (PURE AROMA MUSIC & MOVIE CREATIONS)/ a.k.a PURE AROMA MUSIC INC.. based in Mombasa Kenya is compelled to stay at the top of East Africa's best live music and authentic movie & creativity recording.
Above all, I love people so, all PURE AROMA products are alligned with a positive message to improve the quality of life of the consumers.
I have a social resposibility, a big burden to enhance homeless people(street children) to find hope. My studio organizes events where youth, especially streetboy's and girl's talents are exposed while the homeless children are housed at Wana Wa Mola Streetchildren's Mission which i spear head.
Boys and girls are organized to perform African dances as a tool for therapy, building self-esteem and entrepreneur ability as they perform in the local community and beyond.
Talented youth get a chance to record and market their own music.
