Natasa Mirkovic-De Ro

Presentation

A native of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Master of Arts in Opera Singing from the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Graz Austria. Natasa is a singer, actress and also studied musicology, in Sarajevo and later on in Graz. She has been living in Austria since 1994, currently on stage in the brilliant role of Kassandra in her solo-project Kassandra -Laments of the Balkans. Together with Matthias Loibner, Natasa released the CD-Ajvar & Sterz- in April 2006. They were awarded the presigious Austrian World-Music Award in 2005. Most recent projects are: The boy and the butterfly- children songs and tales from the Balkans, The Wedding Story- Balkan wedding customs and music, Mountain Wind- assisted by her dream team of well known vocalists and instrumentalists from Austria, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.

Besides her musical projects on stage Natasa is successfully teaching her very own -Universal Voice Leading- singing method in workshops all over Europe.
