Biography

Stone Carpets first EP Silence! was recorded in 2008. It featured five alternative rock songs. The title track from Silence! ended up on a compilation album called Riot on Sunset (272 Records). The song the Crying from the same EP was featured in the swedish winter sports movie Ruffriders 4.

The five songs on the second EP, EEE, was more influenced by grunge and hard rock from the 90's than the songs on Silence!. EEE was done in a true do-it-yourself fashion. Produced and recorded by the band members themselves, and released by Gothenburg indie label Gourmé! Records in 2009.

The Stone Carpet sound continues to evolve, and the 2010 single release, The Sound of a Thousand, takes the band yet another step further towards the heavier sounds of rock.
