TiTORS iNSiGNiA
Presentation
21ST CENTURY
It all began at the beginning of the 21st century in a small town in-between Manchester and Liverpool called St Helens, when 3 young musicians started to rehearse in a shed so small you couldn’t even swing a cat. They would practice A few nights a week doing they favourite cover songs but as time went on they all start to work & start college so that meant music was being put on the back burner for the time being as they drifted apart and joined other musicians and bands to carry on their passion for music. 8 years had passed and they had matured musically and physically so they decided to reform the band using the name TiTORS iNSiGNiA that is believed to be a story about a time traveller called John Titor from the year 2036.
THE LINE UP
The lead vocalist and guitarist Stu oggy Bringing his strong, gravelly voice through, he clearly leads the Vocals to another dimension & Mark Pearce (Peano) seems to have elastic fingers and is known for his innovative and rapid guitar solos. Lewis Sanderson the new addition plays the bass like a mutation of Mark Lamar and Mark King (Level 42) and continues to have fun in his performances. Then we have the mad one…… Often compared to Keith Moon (Not for the drumming talent), Ste Swift (Aptly nicknamed “Swifty”) is the drummer. When Swifty plays, the band needs to turn the amps up. He hits the skins like Dave Grohl on steroids and rarely finishes a gig without breaking a pair of sticks. However, taking away the madness, Swifty is one hell of a drummer. They shine individually yet make the perfect team
THE BAND
TiTORS iNSiGNiA was born and started to write their own crowd pleasing songs straight away playing gig after gig in and around St Helens, Liverpool and Manchester they decided to record they debut album FAIR CITY RIOTS All funded out of their own pockets the band where on a mission to make a fantastic album and rock the nation with their powerful rock songs both lyrically and musically brilliant.
DEBUT ALBUM – FAIR CITY RIOTS
The band hit the studio early in 2010 and began recording with sound engineer/producer and owner of jaraf house studio john kettle and fired through song after song over a few months until the day had come they have been waiting for august 1st 2010 FAIR CITY RIOTS was complete
Let’s see what the future holds…………
