An extensive review of Blaklez’s recently released Amapiano EP “Ska Rasa Wa E Senya”.
We are in awe of all the work Mzansi rapper, Blaklez has put in this year. With him, there’s always something new to deliver, and he does it so well. It is no wonder his fans continue to multiply.
He’s been doing the most this year, dropping hits and impressive projects like the most recent ones “Lost Diamonds” with PdotO and of course, the “Bear Energy” EP. Each project was different from the next, and that’s particularly what made it more exciting.
He recently delivered the brand new 2-track EP, “Ska Rasa Wa E Senya” proving his consistency and versatility. Now, here’s our review of both songs on the new EP.
1. Umsakazo
On the first track, the “Lepara” rapper teams up with known hit makers, Junior Taurus and Team Mosha. The aftermath of this collab is a dance-ready track that would have you moving to rhythm even without being told. The production is top notch, and the delivery deserves a lot of applause. The song is also easy to remember. It has a repetitive hook, that fast claims your subconscious. You might find yourself singing along while you move to the rhythm. There’s a new side to Blaklez on the song, he’s more fun, but still maintains his chill vibe.
2. Ha Se Pitori
On the second and final track, Zer012 Finest joins Blaklez and the aforementioned act, Junior Tauras and Team Mosha. On this one, the “Bear Energy” hit maker raps more than he sings. He still remains consistent with the repeated refrains, and adlibs, enough to claim your thoughts with. We dont know which is more fun, this or the other song. However, the energy remains the same as he practically summons you to vibe with him.
This truly is an EP to hear. All in all, we are giving Blaklez “Ska Rasa Wa E Senya” EP a 4.7 star rating.
