Zinhle Jiyane popularly known by her stage name DJ Zinhle is a prolific Disc Jockey and producer in South Africa. She is was well known for being the former inside DJ of Jika Majika a musical show on SABC 1 in South Africa. DJ Zinhle was born in a very small town called Kwazulu, where she grew up with her Brother and Mother. At first she wanted to be a TV presenter and will try to talk and walk like them but after realizing the route changed for her through her brother’s influence of working with a music equiptment company. Due to stress her brother started mixing with the equipments to while away time. After a while he noticed DJ Zinhle had developed interest and started practicing with her.

DJ Zinhle’s breakthrough came when she dropped her “My Name is” track which saw her feature Busiswa although she had been DJing for event s and working for a TV station. But the popularity that came out of this actual song made her known in other African countries. After this she has been able to release topnotch songs and thrive in an industry that mostly favored men.

She has also released and has been featured on albums that have sold out. DJ Zinhle has done really well at carving a niche for herself in the music industry.
