“One Of Us Is Lying” Season 3 – Here Is What We Know

Here is what we know about the highly anticipated third season of the Peacock series "One Of Us Is Lying."

We doubt if we are the only ones who enjoy watching “One Of Us Is Lying.” There’s a number of us in every crowd. We were all so excited when Peacock announced that the series was returning for a second season.

We were also impressed when season 2 debuted and gave us good entertainment. We finally got to know who killed Jake and also who Simon Says was. Everyone had been biting their fingernails to know that. Unfortunately, the information season 2 gave us was not enough to keep us off the edge of our seats. The end of the season brought a new set of questions to mind. Sorry if you still haven’t seen it. Yes, you would love the answers to the first season’s questions, but 2 also has its own waiting at the end.

When Is Season 3 Coming?

For a while, this was the question on everyone’s mind. It felt like no one had an answer for the fans. There were some hints from the showrunners about continuing the story. In an interview with TVLine in October 2022, Erica Saleh said she was ready for a third season and already had some ideas.

She said, “I definitely think that we’d have another new mystery and introduce some more evil elements at Bayview. What deeper evil is lurking underneath the surface in Bayview is something that I’m really excited to explore in season three.”

Unfortunately, those plans will not materialize because we hear the series will not return for a third season. According to recent reports circulating the net, it has been canceled by Peacock. Deadline Hollywood tweeted on January 21st, 2023, that the show, alongside “Vampire Academy,” had been canceled.

Of course, fans are freaking out.

Here’s What We Would Have Expected From The Third Season

Had the season been given the green light, we would have seen the return of the ‘Bayview Four’ including Bronwyn (played by Marianly Tejada), Nate (Cooper van Grootel), Addy (Annalisa Cochrane), and Cooper (Chibuikem Uche). The supporting characters such as Vanessa (Sara Thompson), Cole (Joe Witkowski), and Maeve (Melissa Collazo) would have also made a return.

Doralynn Mui, who plays Fiona would not have returned to the show. Recall that she was killed in prison (from a poison). We would have maybe seen her in flashbacks.

The end of the second season left us wondering what secrets Fiona knew about Jake, and what Cole might have done to keep it from coming out. Of course, we all wanted to see how school would have ended for the Bayview Four. Unfortunately, we are left to create scenarios in our heads.

Farewell to a beautiful series.
