Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is a prolific Afropop, Dancehall and reggae singer in Ghana. His genre of music is divided in between Afropop, Dancehall and Raggae. He owns his own personal record called Burniton Music group in which he has also signed other major talented artistes in Ghana.

Stonebwoy has performed on world stage with top African and International artistes. He is recognized as the king of Reggae and Dancehall in Africa. He normally raps in Patois and is a multifaceted artiste.

Stonebwoy was born in a town in Ghana called Ashaiman where he did his high school education and later on started making music in his early school days, this was after he realized he was good at making lyrics and a good scrip writer which later made him venture into making movies in his later years. Stonebwoy is happily Married to Dr Louisa Ansong and they have two children together.

Stonebwoy’s major breakthrough came after he released his first hit with Samini titled “Climax”. The song received many welcoming reaction and the popularity led him to become known in the industry. It was after this he released “Ghetto Love” featuring Irene Logan. Both songs were later nominated for awards and after that Stonebwoy became an household name in the industry. Although he had started as a lyricist in his earlier school days.

Stonebwoy since his debut has released topnotch songs like Tuff seed, Shuga, Ololo, Tomorrow just to mention a few and this songs have gone on to win him major awards. He has also released albums that have sold out since the time of their release. Albums like Grade, Necessary Evil and Epistles of Mama.

Stonebwoy since his debut has won himself various awards both in Ghana and Internationally. He has also gotten himself various endorsement deals from top brands in Ghana. He is also one of the best Reggae artists in Ghana. Stonebwoy has done well in carving a niche for himself in his genre. He has performed on stage with the like of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Teni Makanaki just to mention a few.
