Mr Eazi Biography

Our focus shifts to Nigerian born, Ghana based singer “Mr Eazi”.  Oluwatosin Ajibade popularly  known by his stage name “Mr Eazi”,is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is the pioneer of Banku music, a fusion sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian high-life  and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. The singer released his debut mix-tape “About to Blow” in 2013 which gained him an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single “Skin Tight”.His second mix-tape Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos was released in 2017.Mr Eazi who  signed a licensing deal with Universal Africa, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group as done well for himself over time. 1 PROPERTY
This uplifting and highly-infectious track talks about assurance and the importance of money.The song, built on a stuttering guitar riff and minimal beat work, sees Mr Eazi singing about loving someone so much he’s down to put all of his property in her name. The song also got contributions from South African trumpeter Mo-T of Mi Casa.

The visual takes place on an empty road and shows Mr Eazi as he plays around with different backdrops, groups of dancers, and even a choir all dressed up in their gowns and a guitarist .South African trumpeter Mo-T, of course, shows up as well. Definitely a hit song. Check it out.

2. HOLL UP
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi features Nigerian Singer Dammy Krane. The song which was released after teasing it for sometime on social media has gone on to be one of the greatest song ever dropped by Mr Easy. The song which was produced by Dj Juls also had Singer Joey B on it.

The visuals to the song was Directed by Alexx Adjei and is quite intriguing also had some cameo appearances from Maleek Berry, Eugy & DJ Juls. This is surely a hit song. Check it out.

 

3. POUR ME WATER
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi saw him pour out his mind on deep issues affecting him. The song is a track  from his second studio album. this is another infectious number from the tracks on the album.

Pour Me Water Comes with the usual Eazi vibes, that is his signature laid back flow, And the song was produced by E-kelly. The song makes, what sounds like, a tongue-in-cheek reference to Holy Water. With its mellow and understated Afro-beats vibe, “Pour Me Water” is a quintessential Mr Eazi track, and we are loving it.Check it out.

 

4. SURRENDER
This song features vocals from Nigerian songstress Simi. The song which is a track from his mix-tape Lagos to London vol 2 was filled with powerful vocal, melodious tune and play on word.

The bubbly love song, got an equally sweet visual, that sees the two coupling up after meeting on a farm and later avoiding Simi’s overprotective father by sneaking to an outdoor dance party. Simi and Mr Eazi make for a lovable duo as they harmonize seamlessly together throughout the nearly 3-minute track. Check it out.

 

5. ANOINTING
The Ghana based Nigerian musician Mr Eazi teamed up with Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie on this track and we can say there is anointing all over it. The song saw the two rap artist playing on words and dropping lines upon lines. the hit song was also complemented with a brilliant video. Check it out .

6. LEG OVER
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi talks about girls and the game they play with men’s heart. The phase Leg over which also translates to been “played over’ was deeply explained in the song in a story like manner. This hit song featured on many Charts both in Nigeria and Ghana.

The Song was produced by prolific hit-maker E-Kelly, and we are loving it. Check it out.

7. BUSINESS
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi features Ghanaian Rapper Mugeez, a member of the singing duo “R2bees”. The song  Off the Accra To Lagos album saw Mr Eazi drop rab bars and play with words.

The chemistry between  (R2bees) and Mr Eazi on this track is worth mentioning , they both intertwined perfectly on this sound. its a slow bounce sound with a  solid production.A visual was also dropped to complement the song and we can say this is one of the best collaborations on his mix-tape. 8. TILAPIA
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi features Ghanaian singer Medikal. The song which is a track off is “Life is Easy” album was a total hit.

Ghanian singer Medikal who sounds so much like Paedae from the Ghanian Music duo “R2bees” did justice to the song with his vocals. The visual of the song was set in the Old school era which saw Mr Eazi wearing an afro and potrayed as a fisherman. Check it out.

9. MISS YOU BAD
This song features Nigerian Afro-beats Singer and African Giant “Burna Boy”. The emotional song sees the artist singing about a girl he’s longing for,  reflecting on a relationship that’s gone sour.

In the video, Mr Eazi sits in a colorful room while his special lady sits at a distance, capturing the strain in their relationship. Later in the video, he’s joined by a fashionable Nigerian artist Burna Boy who offers a tuneful verse about his own lover. lovely song here. Check it out.

 

10. SUPANOVA
This song by Nigerian Born, Ghana based musician Mr Eazi “Supernova” saw him sings humorously about spoiling his woman with clothes from Fashion Nova, among other things. He released an animated “visualizer” to accompany the the just under 2-minute track.

Remember the artist has earlier this year shared various  freestyle tracks to express how far he has gone in his musical career. The song since released have gone on to top Major Charts in Nigeria.The song was produced by Dre Skull & E Kelly.Check it out.
