Niniola Biography

Niniola is one of the biggest female musician in Nigerian music industry today. Whether she is singing  her beautiful tunes or performing on stage Niniola has shown us her musical prowess. Niniola Apata popularly known as Niniola is a singer, song writer and performer.

Niniola was the 3rd Runner-Up in the MTN PROJECT FAME Competition Season 6 (2013), where she performed with the likes of KCEE. She takes her inspiration from the likes of Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, The Cranberries, Madonna, Beyoncé and Yoruba(African) music, and uses them to shape her own style. In her words, “I naturally gravitate to a sound that’s filled with warmth and timelessness.”

Her first Official Single “Ibadi” which was produced by Sarz, is of a new genre which she created for herself and called it “AFRO-HOUSE” – a blend of Afro-beat and House music. The single went on to become a massive hit in Nigeria and around the continent. With albums like “This is me” (2017) and “The urban pulse vol.6” (2017) Niniola has gone on to win various awards and to show she is indeed a trend setter. 1. BODA SODIQ
This song by  Nigeria’s “Queen of Afro-house’ is catchy as ever. As expected , Niniola delivered a club-ready track that’s made to dance along to. The song sees her laying her signature airy vocals atop pulsating production from popular Nigerian producer Kel P.

On the track, the singer narrates a mesmerizing night out on the town. This song featured Sarz and is her latest release for the year 2019.

2. DESIGNER
The Afro-House queen, Niniola kicked  off the year 2019 with this amazing single titled “Designer”. The catchy single features renowned record producer and songwriter, Sarz.

The song which has become a club favorite has received massive airplay on TV and radio station all across Nigeria and has also featured on many Nigerian music charts.

She taps on prolific record producer Sarz to deliver this smashing song that got potentials to buzz speakers. On this record she listed the hottest designers loved by different people but states what she loves the most. Check it out.

3.BANA
Nigerian house queen, Niniola  went all club vibes on this track  produced by Sarz. This coming after are award nominations from BET to SAMA the international recognition’s and collaborations which includes the DJ Snake Remake of Maradona.

This track proved once again Niniola is a trailblazer. The song which saw her talking about how much she loves her man and how protective she is about him had a fusion of Afro music and House music to it. This is one sure track you are sure to get addicted to. With a colorful dance visual to spice it up. Check it out.

4. MARADONA
This song by the Afro-House Queen Niniola talks about Men and the game they played. “Maradona” which was coined from the Brazilian footballer’s name and signifies “dribbling” or “cheating”.

The song is  produced by Sarz. The song which had a beautiful House tune to it has received massive airplay since it release in 2017 and has also been featured on major music charts in Nigeria.

The visual which showed an altercation between her and a man whom she found out had cheated on her with all of her friends and was also aiming to do more was one of the most viewed videos and won the heart of many. This song is one sure hit and we are loving it. Check it out.

5. SICKER
This song by Nigeria’s very own Queen of Afro-House Niniola talks about her being the best at what she does. This club hit was also produced by Sarz. This is a song which showed She is Obviously not resting on her laurels. The visuals to the song also did justice to the song. This is a sure hit and we are loving it. Check it out.

6. MAGUN (REMIX)
This song by Nigeria’s Drumroll Records queen, Niniola features South African Singer Busiswa. The song comes as follow up to her popular single “Magun” meaning “don’t touch” which  received so much acceptance from the public.

The song is Produced by Nigeria’s hit-maker, Sarz. It is of importance to know that Niniola’s songs didn’t only gain Nigerian’s acceptance but is also a hit within the South African community which led to her subsequent nomination in the South African Music Awards (SAMA). 7. OYIN
Nigeria’s very own Queen of Afro-House Niniola showed us her RnB side with this song. This song which featured on various Nigerian Musical charts talked about love been sweet, therefore using the phrase “Oyin” which translates to honey.

The visuals of the song which was directed by Clarence Peters saw Niniola stalking her love interest, from buying him things to watching his every move. This is one sure hit. Check it out.

8. JIGI JIGI

This song by Nigeria’s Queen of Afro-House Niniola was produced by ODH. This song speaks on prosperity, happiness and feeling of fulfillment.

The song which is sure to stick in one’s memory saw Niniola talk about her been surprised at the level of success she has attained.

This song by the Project fame alumni, Niniola is also another club hit track. Shaba which is witty, upbeat and highly dance-able track is produced by DJ REP.

This song was produced by the US based producer Webbsta beatz and was Co-Produced by Jospo, mixed and mastered by Indomix. Niniola’s distinct voice is one sure to tension the female acts out there .

She channeled the Valentine feel with the song. Akara Oyibo, is a perfect blend of English and Yoruba.The visual was directed by Adasa Cookey. Check it out.
