Omawumi Biography

Shifting our focus to one of the leading female singer in the Nigerian music scene Omawumi. Omawumi Megbele popularly known by her stage name Omawumi, is a prolific singer and songwriter in Nigeria.

The songstress who started her musical career from singing in a church choir has done so well for herself over the years. She became popular in the Nigerian musical scene with the release of her hit song “in the music”. The song showed her distinct vocals and her wonderful production of lyrics couldn’t be ignored.

Over the years Omawumi has won herself various award recognition and also gotten ambassadorial roles from top brands in Nigeria.
