It has already spawned a dance challenge that continues to gain momentum in Mzansi. You should hear it.
2. De Mthuda – John Wick (feat. Sir Trill & Ntokzin)
Wherever De Mthuda is, we know there is always going to be a hit. The Mzansi star really kicked off the year in a great manner, dishing hits including this stunner tagged “John Wick”. Vocal master, Sir Trill and Mthuda’s frequent collaborator, Ntokzin join him to lend a hand on the killer jam.
3. Mr JazziQ, Kabza De Small & Lady Du – Woza (feat. Boohle)
Former JazziDisciples member, Mr JazziQ really came swinging this year. The talented muso has been doing the most this year. In just 3 months, he has dropped back to back jams and featured on some too, delivered impressive performances on Live shows. He teamed up with Kabza De Small, and Lady Du to drop “Woza” featuring Boohle.
4. DBN Gogo, Blaqnick & MasterBlaq – Khuza Gogo (feat. Mpura, AmaAvenger & M.J)
DBN Gogo was definitely looking to incite a party when she dropped “Khuza Gogo”. She honestly recruited the right people to get it going. She enlisted Blaqnick and MasterBlaq to work with her. Mpura, AmaAvenger and M.J also contribute to the jam.
5. Kwiish SA – LiYoshona (feat. Njelic, MalumNator & De Mthuda) [Main Mix]
What’s a world without Kwiish SA? Of course, we would all feel like something was missing. The DJ and producer has made some good moves this year, and dropped the “LiYoshona” main mix. You need a special kind of grace to boogy to this. It features contributions from Malumnator and De Mthuda.
6. Musa Keys – Vula Mlomo (feat. Sir Trill & Nobantu Vilakazi) [Radio Edit]
Musa Keys has noticeably been putting in very good work this year. He has claimed the airwaves with back to back jams including this stellar offering tagged “Vula Mlomo”. He enlists the talents of Sir Trill and Nobantu Vilakazi to feature on the song. Oh, what a jam.
7. DJ Obza – Idlozi Lami (feat. Nkosazana & DJ Freetz)
DJ Obza isn’t one to shy away from making hit for his fans to enjoy. He put in a lot of work to achieve that this year. He dropped the impressionable jams “Idlozi Lami” featuring Nkosazana and DJ Freetz, both of him also deliver amazing work on the song.
8. Junior De Rocka & Lady Du – Catalia (feat. Mr JazziQ, Mellow & Sleazy)
We must confess, we are so proud of all the work Junior De Rocka has put in this year. The talented muso charged up the airwaves with his joint hit with Lady Du tagged “Catalia”. Of course, Mr JazziQ, Mellow and Sleazy were on hand to sprinkle their magic on it too.
9. Dj Stokie – Superman (feat. Kabza De Small, Masterpiece YVK & Madumane)
DJ Stokie started the year in a great way. He closed out the previous year with his stunning project “My Journey”, and it gave birth to this stunning jam tagged “Superman”. It features contributions from Kabza De Small, Masterpiece YVK and Madumane. Together, they crafted a hit that keeps on giving.
10. Busta 929 – Paradise (feat. Miano & 20ty Soundz)
It has been Busta 929’s year, and he has claimed it in the best ways. After announcing at the beginning of the year that he has a ton of new music to drop, he began dishing them one by one. This is “Paradise”, and it features Miano and 20ty Soundz.
11. Lady Du & DBN Gogo – Dakiwe (feat. Mr JazziQ, Seekay & Busta 929)
Lady Du has gotten several nods of approval this year. Cassper Nyovest is particularly proud of how far she’s come. On this stunning jam tagged “Dakiwe”, she teams up with another firecracker, DBN Gogo, and they recruit Mr JazziQ, Seekay and Busta 929 to also contribute to the song.

Lately, there has been one constant name in the airwaves when it comes to Amapiano. That’s Busta 929. Undeniably Amapiano’s most consistent contributor this year. He continues to charge up the airwaves with “Ekseni”. The song features contributions from Boohle & Zuma, who also bring a lot of their spice into it.
15. Mr JazziQ & Busta 929 – VSOP (feat. Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Mpura, Riky Rick & 9umba)
Words can’t describe how much Mr JazziQ and Busta 929 make a great pair. They have proven this with every jam they have dropped from last year till this year. Everyone can’t get enough of “VSOP”, a thriller. It also features contributions from Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Mpura, Riky Rick & 9umba.
16. De Mthuda & Ntokzin – uMsholozi (feat. MalumNator)
You can’t talk about amazing pairings without mentioning the one De Mthuda has with both Ntokzin and Njelic. Absolutely mind blowing. He made a stunning project with Ntokzin this year, and birthed this song “uMsholozi” featuring MalumNator. The song has attached itself to a good spot in the airwaves and refused to budge.
17. Boohle & Josiah De Disciple – Mama
If we got a thousand Rand for everytime Boohle and Josiah De Disciple has thrilled Mzansi with their amazing pairing, we would be multi-millionaires by now. The two have put in a lot of good work this year. We have only one word for this song “Mama”, and it’s “Killer”.
18. De Mthuda – Abekho Ready (feat. Sir Trill & Da Muziqal Chef) [Maplankeng Reshuffle]
With multiple appearances on this list, it is obvious that De Mthuda came swinging this year. The talented muso is winning with all the hits he had unleashed. The new “Abekho Ready” [Maplankeng Reshuffle] is a stunner. It features contributions from popular Vocalist, Sir Trill and Da Muziqal Chef.
19. Major League Djz & Abidoza – Dinaledi (feat. Mpho Sebina)
It anyone or act can put on a great show with their music, it is definitely Major League. Everytime they team up with Abidoza, unstoppable magic is made. That’s the story with this song tagged “Dinaledi” featuring Mpho Sebina. They deliver amazing work on the song which has refused to be suppressed.
