There is always good music attached to Vusi Nova’s name. There’s no better thing for an artist to be known by than good music. Vusi has been making a lot of them. After the stunning collaboration “Yibanathi” featuring Dumi Mkokstad, he blessed the airwaves with a new one titled “Ntandane”.
This time around, he teamed up with Somizi. Together, they deliver a soulful song that prides on beautifully written lyrics and amazing vocal delivery. In case you haven’t heard it yet, the song will make you feel a lot of things, and open your heart up to a lot of beauty and sunlight. At least, that’s what it did for us.
Vusi’s vocals set the pace on this one. He delivers amazingly well on the song, and sings like the veteran he is known to be. We can almost see fans listening to the song and trying to sound exactly like him. There is so much strength in his voice as he brings the song home. The strength in his delivery does not take away the soulful nature of the song.
In case you’ve been wondering why TV star, Somizi is a judge on Idols SA, this song should prove what he can deliver to you. The talented muso is just amazing as he matches Vusi’s emotions, and brings his own feel to the song. His delivery on the song is impressive. Together they compliment each other.
The choir builds an even stronger atmosphere around the song. There’s something beautiful and touching about a choir singing the chorus of a song. This will give you chills. One major thing that stands out in “Ntandane” is the vocal delivery. Everyone does a great job, from the lead singers to the choir.
