Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, will always be a memorable day for entertainment lovers in Mzansi because it marks the day the Big Brother Mzansi show made its come back to our TV screens. Fans had anticipated the show’s return for a while, and it was exciting to see it happen finally.
Returning, the show also debuted a new host, Mzansi actor and presenter Lawrence Maleka, who hit the Big Brother Mzansi stage for the first time and killed it. Maleka expertly introduced the first housemates, one after the other, before they made their way into the Big Brother house. Then, while chatting briefly with him, each housemate spoke about their strategy in the house. This is meant to help them gain a good following and give them a shot at the R2 million (equivalent to Nigeria’s N54 million) prize.
18 housemates first entered the Big Brother house on the first day, after which two more housemates followed the following weekend, making them a complete 20. Of the 18 housemates to make their way into the house, Zino was the youngest. He hit the stage for a brief chat with Maleka and left quite an impression on the viewers. He has since been very talked-about throughout the two weeks that the show has aired.
His real name is Adindu Asuzu, and he hails from Johannesburg. Zino is a 21-year-old Digital Marketing student who has confessed to being a mummy’s boy. According to him, he made it into the Big Brother Mzansi house following his mother’s advice. So she must be a great influence on his life.
While describing himself, Zino revealed that he is “highly sociable” and an inquisitive person. He further stated that he isn’t about starting drama but is always the one who ends it. Although he is a self-proclaimed mummy’s boy, Zino says he will not let anyone take advantage of him. This proves that he’s only soft with his mama.
Speaking about what his relationship with the other housemates would be like, he stated that because he isn’t “stuck up”, they can all easily have a great conversation with him. He also says that his mom tells him he has a soft heart and describes himself as “kind, loving and energetic”.
Zino loves playing football, video games, and also working out in the gym. He says more than anything, he is excited to have made it into the Big Brother Mzansi house.
