Lloyd George Muirhead Harris is a South African professional tennis player. Harris has been ranked as high as World No. 31 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Achieved on 13 September 2021, it made him the current African and South African No. 1 men’s singles player. Harris has a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 108. This was achieved on 6 June 2022. He has won three ATP Challenger singles titles and two Challenger doubles titles. He has also won 13 ITF singles titles and 4 ITF doubles titles.

Lloyd Harris was born in Cape Town, on 24 February 1997. He celebrated his 25th birthday on February 24, 2022. He began playing tennis at age 3 before committing professionally to it at 15. He was raised to speak English and Afrikaans.

He is accompanied by former Wimbledon semi-finalist and top 20 player Malisse on certain weeks while on tour.

Harris said about Malisse, “ has been a huge influence in the team since he joined. He has so much experience, so much I can learn from him. He has been in these situations many times, and was obviously a phenomenal player. Now he can help me with my transition to becoming a better player also.”

In early 2018, while Lloyd was playing in Portugal he received the news that his father passed away the day before his match. While grieving the death of his dad, he decided that he would to stay and play for him. Lloyd ended up winning back to back weeks.
