Born October 5th 1995, Lindokuhle Magedezi popularly known by his stage name Mlindo the Vocalist, is a prolific singer and songwriter in South Africa. He became popular for the hit song “Amablesser”, which did so well on music charts that it shot him into the major eye of the music industry. The singer also has an album that has since gone platinum since its debut.

Family and Beginning

Mlindo The Vocalist is originally from Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal South Africa.  Mlindo joined a local church at age four and discovered his singing skills. The singer developed the skill over time and has he rose to prominence he helped his family, helping his brother and unemployed mother.

Education

Mlindo The Vocalist attended Phathwa high school in Gcilima after which he attended his bachelors education at the university of Zululand but later dropped out in 2018 to focus on his music.

Mlindo got his major breakthrough after the released of his “Amablesser”single. Although music for him started at an early age when he joined his church choir, Mlindo relocated to Eastern cape where he joined the “Flow riders” hip hop group in 2010. He left in 2014 to form an acapella group called “White Bread” in 2014, they had so many success including winning the search for the stars talent show in Durban. It was after he worked with DJ Tira’s Afrotainment record label where he became popular on social media and later got signed by Universal music.
