He took over from DJ Fresh and revealed that it was difficult for him because he had a lot of anxiety. He said, “This is a defining moment for me. It came a lot sooner than I expected, and it’s not even something that I wanted to do, actually. I never thought that one day I would do a breakfast show on Metro.” He left Metro FM in March 2023, eight years after being with the station.
