SHANE EAGLE’S BIOGRAPHY
Born 7th of June 1996, Shane Patrick Hughes popularly known by his stage name Shane Eagle, is a prolific rapper, songwriter, television personality in South Africa.
Shane Eagle rose to fame after finishing third place at the first season of “The Hustle” rapping reality show in 2015. The term “Eagle” which is in his name was given to him by a group of his friends that resided in Rabie Ridge in Johannesburg.
FAMILY AND BEGINNING
Shane Eagle is originally from Rabie Ridge Johannesburg. He is born to a Coloured mother, and an Irish father.
Shane Eagle later relocated to Kempton park at the age of 5, after his parents broke up, as he got to live with his father. However, he continued visiting his mother at Rabie Ridge frequently, where he made new friends and started trying out his rap skills.
EDUCATION
Shane Eagle is an high school graduate and started working on his music career from school, rapping and participating in a couple of talent shows. He recorded his first song at the age of 13, which got massive reviews from those around him.

Shane Eagle got his major break after finishing in third place at Vuzu rapping competition “The Hustle”, which scouted for new rap artist by choosing them off the social media platform. Participating and coming on top 3 of the competition made him popular in the entertainment world.
Although music for him started at a very early age. He started experimenting with music from his high school days and released his first rap song at the age of 13. Immediately after the competition his fanbase expanded and the name Shane Eagle rang through the Industry.
