Biography
Sivenathi Mabuya popularly known as Sive Mabuya is a South African actress, model, MC, Television presenter and brand ambassador. She gained attention when she began playing the intriguing role of Xolile Langa in the popular Television series, Scandal. She is regarded as one of many South African actors who actually attended drama school before taking up acting professionally.
Career;
Sive Mabuya graduated high school with credits in stage and acting. She later obtained a BFA Degree in Theatre.
Sive initially began acting in church and also at school. She became a full time actress following her move from East London to Johannesburg. Her breakthrough came in February 2015, when she was announced as one of 5 winners of the MAQa Movie competition for amateur actors. She earned her much recognition.
Following her win, Sive featured in several films and TV shows. Some of them include Skorokoro which was directed by Darrell Roodt. Later on, she bagged a cameo role in Shona Ferguson’s supernatural drama series, Igazi. In December 2015, she made her silver screen debut, starring in The Ring, an M-Net original film. In 2016, she starred in a feature length movie titled, The Lucky Specials.
In July 2016, Sive joined the cast of SABC3′ dark comedy series, Sober Companion where she played Faith. In September of the same year, she appeared as AJ in SABC3’s High Roller. In 2017, she landed the role of Xolile Langa in the e.TV soapie, Scandal.

Sivenathi Mabuya was born in Cape Town on the 26th day of April in 1993. She grew up in East London before moving to Johannesburg. She celebrated her 28th birthday in April 2021. Sive speaks different languages including Xhosa, Zulu and English.

Sive Mabuya is married to one of South Africa’s famous figures, Bongile Mantsai. The Award-winning actor is best known for his roles in Scandal, Knuckle City, The Wound, Sew The Winter To My Skin, and several other hit shows.
