Biography

Thembi Nkadimeng is a South African politician for the African National Congress. Nkadimeng is the current Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. She has been in office since March 2023 and had previously served as Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs from 2021 to 2023.

Nkadimeng holds a Bachelor of Arts (honours) degree and a higher education diploma from the University of the North. She also earned a Bachelor of Philosophy in Political Studies from Stellenbosch University. In addition t her qualifications, she has completed an advanced programme in management at Wits Business School. Nkadimeng is known to have had a lot of success as a politician in South Africa.

The exact of Thembi Nkadimeng’s birth is unknown to be public. According to the media, she was either born in 1972/1973. As of 2023, she is either 49 or 50 years old. Other media outlets, including The City Celeb, report that she was born on June 5, 1972, and grew up in Swaziland.

Husband

Thembi Nkadimeng revealed in an interview that she was happily married, but she has not shared the identity of her husband. She has kept information about her marriage and husband away from the public.

Sister

Born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Simelane, Thembi Nkadimeng lost her sister many years ago. She was named Nokuthula, an MK courier and student activist in Swaziland. According to reports, it is assumed that Nokuthula was killed during the struggle in 1983. She was reportedly arrested and tortured by security men. Shortly after her sister’s death, her father passed on, followed by her brother.

Children

While speaking in an interview about her marriage and family, Nkadimeng shared that she is a mother of four. She revealed she has two sons and two daughters. Her older son and daughter are each four years older than the younger ones. She shared that her kids complained about her not spending enough time with them. She has not shared any more information about them with the public.
