“Queen” is a project well worth the title in that it illuminates the singer’s royal gift. Song after song, you realize Ayanda Jiya is not just another artiste but one who takes the listener into consideration, never allowing for boring breaks.
Ayanda Jiya’s musical evolution is something to understudy. Although not the oldest in the industry, she has managed to create a compelling oeuvre. In her latest project, she merely shows her crown as a creative. She has earned it.
