Produced by Casmo Masiano, “UZUMA YI STAR” shows three stars at work, illuminating the paths of those who would listen to them. It a sense, one might say it’s promise made and promise fulfilled for the lead singer, who had shared the cover art of the song on Instagram and bid fans look out for it.
Although not the finest number we have heard this Monday, Barbioulis’ latest drop is yet something easy on the ear – a song you’ll most likely want to hear more than once.
For one who might be described as a new voice in the world of South African music, Barbioulis did well with his latest drop. The guests he picked for this scorcher were just as good on their verses.
Of the two guests, MusiholiQ appears to be the most visible. This hip-hop ace is one of the voices to check out of you’re interested in South African music. He’s got several fine numbers to his name and worked with several industry notables as well. Kelvin M comes in as a fine complement.
