If the claim, that a debut gives clues to how far an artiste might go, is true, then one might say that Berry is in for a long, productive run in the universe of South African music.
The songstress had wowed many on the Idols SA circuit with the song, which she delivered in the semi-finals. Her performance had been described as superlative. Part of the charms of that day rests in her delivery of the song in review.
An afro-pop jam, “Ungowami” takes fans through the corridors of love and possession. Bar after bar, one encounters a lady who knows what it feels like to love and be loved.
