The songster is a Ghanaian and one of the newbies on the music scene. Still, within a short time, he has managed to ignite his name and left it on fire for any lover of hip hop music to see and follow.
The title of his song, “Soja,” is the pidgin phrase for a soldier. And oh, that shouldn’t be surprising. And the references here are certainly to the songster himself – in some ways, anyway. And the clues are out there on his Instagram profile.
On the verified account, there’s the staccato description of the artist as being “at war.” His profile picture is fiery, too. It doesn’t end there, though. When he shared the cover art of the song, he had left fans with a caption that noted the song was penned in a bloody war. What war, exactly, he didn’t say.
Anyway, listening to this song is akin to going to war. The only difference is that no one will be lobbing grenades at young, and your life won’t be on the firing line.
