Budda Sage, Froote and Kususa bring us “Dimension” of their musical gifts in a new song we are immensely pleased to share with y’all.
The song was released by MoBlack Records earlier this month to great purr of pleasure from the afro house community in South Africa.
This should surprise no one, though, as the song, which plays for exactly 6 minutes and 51 seconds, is beautifully articulated and worth the time spent listening to it. It isn’t magic, of course, but one might say it comes close…
Although one of the artistes on the number, Budda Sage, hasn’t popped on our radar previously, he has several fine numbers to his name, including “African Spirit,” “Into the Night” and “Indlozi.” He is an important house in the house genre in South Africa.
Froote stands out for a couple of numbers, including the original mix “Usiko,” which has Bantu and Drega on the guest list.
Kususa? There you have one of our favourite musical duos from South Africa. Made up of Kunzima Theology and Samurai Yasusa, this group is simply exciting.
