The cover art of the album shows the celebrated Nigerian afrobeat star, booted, towering above what appears to be the pyramids of Egypt, his head almost grazing the sky.

For one who has always spoken of his musical gifts and himself as a towering figure in global rap, it is inevitable Burna Boy should return to his default position of himself as “Nephilim.” One can barely fault his faith and audacity, though. He is actually one of the greats in African rap.

Damini Ogulu, who has adopted the stage name of Burna Boy, has got a fine body of work in “Twice As Tall” – a compilation of worldwide appeal, featuring some fine voices in global pop, from Sauti Sol to Chris Martin.
