South African music producer China Charmeleon is out with a new project dubbed “Anelka” album, which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music and entertainment hub.
It’s a promise made and fulfilled on the part of the songster, who had shared the artwork of the project on his Instagram page and informed fans about the project’s availability. The wait is over; now is the time for a musical feast.
This body of work, released through Stay True Sounds, encapsulates exactly 10 songs, beginning with “Lo Mfana,” a collaborative tune with Hypaphonik and Bii Kie, and ending with “Family,” which had no guests.
Between those are numbers like “Itelele,” ” Love of My Life,” “Allan,” and eponymous track, “Hilda,” and “Prism” to mention a few. Among the guest artists co-opted on the song project are Nastic Groove, Theodore Freiden, Mc’Pour, and Roctonic.
China Charmeleon obviously wanted to make the project about himself. On that count, he actually succeeded. There is so much to love about this house collection, from the beats to the tempo, right down to mood and message.
