There is no writing on the wall, although one might hear the amapiano singer Daliwonga crooning “Menemene” alongside his pal Focalistic.
“Menemene” is one of the songs from the songster’s recently released “Chameleon” project which spots several tracks and features some of the major voices in the world of amapiano, including the Piano Kings DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
“Menemene” is one of the engaging numbers in the compilation and one which we encourage you to check out. This song is worth every second of its six minutes play time.
Daliwong and Focalistic are darn good together. It isn’t surprising “Menemene” oozes so much lyrical goodness. In fact, of all the songs in Daliwonga’s “Chameleon” compilation, we count “Menemene” among the songs you just have to listen to.
You might call it a weekend gift or whatever, it yet remains a fine number and one that might keep you engaged even beyond the weekend. Daliwonga and Focalistic ought to work more together. We need the energy of their collaborative tunes. Darn good.
