It’s a reunion of sort for De Mthuda and Ntokzin, who had earlier collaborated on “Wawela,” a song featuring Taskipper and Khanya Greens. And oh, it’s still a reunion for De Mthuda and MalumNator, the two of them having worked on “Uyang’dlalisela” (alongside Bibo).

De Mthuda and Ntokzin are pretty good as collaborators, as should be obvious from their past works. The same may said of De Mthuda and MalumNator. It is not surprising “Dakwa Yini” is a lyrical triumph. The song is worth a place on a playlist.

By the way, De Mthuda is one buzzing voice in the universe of amapiano music in South Africa. Based on his dismissal of Kabza De Small as the king of amapiano, it is clear De Mthuda is interested in the crown of the genre. But can he snatch it and see the world declare him the king?
