Three of South Africa’s memorable voices DJ Maphorisa, Visca, Roki and Leon Lee present a new tune titled “Ziyakhala,” one, hopefully, of several collaborative drops from their orbit.
When artists are pretty good on a beat, you end up nursing dreams of seeing them unleash their creative powers all over again. This is one such instance, and we have no qualms admitting just that. Welcome Lawd Porry and his small army. Lol.
The musicians on this number are maestros of the decks and turntables who can also be called on at any time to spit spit çharming lyrics. One of them, DJ Maphorisa, has been in the industry long enough and charmed the space with several numbers for many to fancy him as one of the kings of the genre.
Left to us, we would say that “Ziyakhala” promised a good time and delivered just that. One reason to lap it up, yes? Let’s go!
