He calls himself a young king, and South African disc jockey and producer DJ Melzi has been flaunting his sinews all over the place. He does that once again with a new tune titled “Uzolimala.” This number has associates Nobantu Vilakazi, Amu Classic, Kappie and LeeMcKrazy as guests.
A full house you have here. But, of course, that’s not a complaint. While we are no fans of a “crowded song,” the potency of this offering pretty much compensates for having five musos on it.
Nobantu Vilakazi, Amu Classic, Kappie and LeeMcKrazy are fine artists in their own right, and they turned out fine complements to the lead muso. The result is a song that stays in memory long after you’re done listening to it.
If you should ask us, we would say it wouldn’t hurt to start your day with “Uzolimala.” This jam is worth every second of its playtime. Let the music begin.
