The champs are here and they bring us a number worthy of their stripe – speaking of Ed Harris, King Retro & Master Dee and their song “Pholas,” which has King Max & SJA as the only guests.
The song popped on YouTube just recently, and although it hasn’t got much views yet, it remains a number of undeniable lyrical energy and sonic appeal. The number draws you into its orbit pretty easily.
Being the brainchild of champs, perhaps w shouldn’t be surprised. Ed Harris is a fine voice in Mzansi music, and so are the other lead singers King Retro and Master Dee. Master Dee and Ed Harris had collaborated previously on an e-stream live mixtape.
Master Dee is particularly noted for his contributions to Mzansi’s gqom orbit. He had worked with some of the genre’s finest voices, including uBiza Wethu and Mr Thela. Well, he brings y’all another fine number in collaboration with his friends. Go have your lyrical treat from this South African cast.
