House producer Da Capo’s retouch of Emmanuel Jal and Check B’s “Hey Mama” tune is one of the most memorable retouches to that song yet. Well, that shouldn’t be surprising given Da Capo’s résumé.
Easily one of the leading voices in South Africa’s house/ electronic space, Da Capo has been dropping lyrical winners for as long as we can remember.
Thanks to his creative sinews, he’s become a regular feature on the set of Kunye Live Mix, an initiative of another notable South African music producer, Shimza.
While “Hey Mama (Da Capo Touch)” is not the finest drop from the South African, it is yet a number worth the playtime, and we can say without mincing words that you can add it to your playlist without regrets.
