When you say “Three Wise Men” what comes to mind for most people is the biblical story of three men who had visited Jesus at birth and then obeyed the injunction not to return when they had come. Here. though. it has nothing to do with biblical allusions.
South African musicians Felo Le Tee & Mellow & Sleazy have just linked up for an album titled “The III Wise Men,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, your go-to place for all things South African music and entertainment.
In deciding to adopt that phrase as the title of their project, the group merely referenced its members. Felo Le Tee is a solo artist, and amapiano producer of noticeable sinews. On the other hand. Mellow & Sleazy is a band of two. In sum, the project was delivered by three persons, hence the title.
Whether they are “wise” or not is a different conversation entirely. Left to us, though, we would say they have put together a memorable body of work. This album comprises exactly eight tracks and features a couple of interesting names, including SjavasDaDeejay, Kabelo Sings, Masterpiece YVK, M.J and Keynote.
It weekend is almost here, and it should be easy deciding to vibe to this album throughout the period.
