It’s been a while since he dropped new music. But with the recent release of “Bacardi Ke Religion,” featuring Mellow & Sleazy, Focalistic makes it clear he’s still in good musical trim.
Before he shared the song, he’s released a teaser on Instagram and encouraged his fans to follow him on Tik Tok and create a dance video using the beat. He’d also promised to share “the best of the best” on his Instagram page. Barcardi Ke Religion is off his newly released EP project titled President Ya Straata.
Well, Foca, as he’s fondly called, did keep to his word. His “Bacardi Ke Religion” song might not have the appeal of “Ke Star,” nor do we think it’ll do similar numbers, but it’s worth hearing all the same. Latent in that song is the South African musician’s trademark exuberance. So, with this song, you’re assured of a fine musical break without boring moments. Now, who wouldn’t want that?
By the way, Foca used to be a hip-hop champ. But he wasn’t given the support he expected, so he switched to amapiano.
