Hellen is a self-taught Singer and Songwriter. She grew up listening to her dad playing records on Sunday afternoons; that’s how she fell in love with music. She was so fascinated by the depth of those golden oldies that it inspired her to start scribbling down her own songs and lyrics.
Hellen has experimented with all kinds of genres over the years, but it was in Gospel music where she found her true self and calling as an artist. Music connects her to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
I wrote Amazing God in 2021. I had just returned home after recording my debut Single, Bread of Life. Amazing God is my song of repentance for doubting the gift that God has given me, and His call over my life.
I am praising God for His Amazing Grace and Mercy, even though I don’t deserve it. I really hope and pray that when people hear this song, they will be revived, and their faith in God will once again be rejuvenated and restored. I pray that they will trust that everything will work together for good. That even though they can’t see it, doesn’t mean that God is not doing it.
