A crop of South African acts, Kelvin Momo, Nanette, S.O.N and Mzizi have banded together to create some new heat, “Imfula” which is one of the trending songs from Kelvin Momo’s new album titled Amukelani.
Sharing the announcement on his Instagram page, Kelvin Momo posted the cover artwork for the album, tagging his other comrades and hyping the new song. Before coming together to make the new record, all artists involved in the project had been on their separate, individual grinds. Nanette released “Dream Girl” and “Vent”. Mzizi has released earlier this year. Kelvin Momo on the other hand has been a regular collaborator in the amapiano space.
Kelvin Momo and S.O.N have also worked together on a song before now, and so have most of them on the new record, meaning they weren’t entirely strangers before “Imfula”, which is now up for streams and downloads on the different streaming platforms.
