Now and then, one falls in love with the soulful energy that a musician brings to their number. One such time is now, with Khanyisa as the subject of attention.
The songstress premieres a new song titled “Mali Yami,” featuring fellow South African Lady Du, Marcus MC and Tycoon. The lead singer pulled off a coup here in the sense that she happened to have a great musical connection with the artists she elected to work with.
Interestingly, she doesn’t have an extensive collaborative history with them all. But that’s by the way. She still pulled off a collaborative coup that will warm the spirit of whoever decides to listen to her and her associates.
The guest artists, Lady Du, Marcus MC and Tycoon, are fine singers in their own rights. So it wasn’t surprising to see that they blended do well with the lead singer. Here, if you please, is one number deserving of a place on a playlist. You should love it.
